The Quran instructs Muhammad’s guest to zip it 🤐 and leave!
Quran: Surah Al-Ahzab 33:53
O you who have believed, do not enter the houses of the Prophet except when you are permitted for a meal, without awaiting its readiness. But when you are invited, then enter; and when you have eaten, disperse without seeking to remain for conversation. Indeed, that [behaviour] was troubling the Prophet, and he is shy of [dismissing] you. But Allah is not shy of the truth.
The wise Quran warns against inconveniencing the prophet by speaking to him.😳🤐
Why did Muhammad opt to have guests over, despite knowing that it caused him considerable discomfort to engage in conversation after a meal?
Poor Muhammad, too shy to bid them farewell himself, so Allah steps in like the ultimate wingman delivering the “Stay quite and get out asap!” message. Allah very caringly delivered divine intervention, and provided a heavenly exit strategy.
The Quran mentions that the prophet Muhammad was shy. Ah, the pitiable plight of that delicate little man.
Silence in his presence please!🤫 Maybe he’s trying to let his food settle after overindulging. Or perhaps he’s just hoping for a rapid retreat to relieve the uprising gas in his tummy.
Did you notice the plural ‘houses’ bit, how many houses did the ‘poor’ prophet have?😳 Steer clear of knocking on his doors anyways, as entry is reserved exclusively for invited wealthy guests only.
Contrastingly, Jesus never excluded anyone, Jesus would never turn away anyone from his house or discourage them from seeking his presence and he was always ready to listen and offer comfort to those in need.
Jesus had no ‘Keep Out’ signs or guest lists required. He offered unwavering love and acceptance to all, without reservation or condition. That, indeed, is the essence of true hospitality.
Jesus’ house is always open to all. Let the comforting words of this Bible verse find a home in your heart, because in Jesus’ house, he’s designated a room just for you.🥰

My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?
