In Islam, cleaning your nose is like performing an exorcism!

Sahih al-Bukhari 3295:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet said, “If anyone of you rouses from sleep and performs the ablution, he should wash his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out thrice, because Satan has stayed in the upper part of his nose all the night.”

Only in Islam can Satan cosy up in your nose for a sleepover.  As this hadith states that Satan stays in your nose the entire night, rent-free!

Muhammad advises washing your nose to evict Satan, by blowing out three times!  Kick Satan out of your nose and make room for some fresh air,  just huff and puff until you blow him far, far away!

Looks like Satan’s got a ‘nose’ for trouble but fear not, because in Islam; nasal hygiene will double as an exorcism!
