Allah only employs handsome men!

Hadith; Ash-Shama’il Al-Muhammadiyah 319

“Allah has not sent a Prophet unless he was endowed with a handsome face and a beautiful voice, and your Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) was endowed with a handsome face and a beautiful voice, and he did not chant in a quavering tone.”

Allah graced us with Quranic revelations with a side of charming good looks i.e. Muhammad’s face. Pretty boy Muhammad looked like he just moonwalked backwards out of a fashion show from heaven. But would his message have had less significance if he were ugly?

Would he have been taken less seriously if he resembled a potato?

In comparison, the Bible never mentions the colour or appearance of Jesus. In fact the Bible emphasises that God looks at the heart rather than external appearances.

1 Samuel 16:7

For the LORD sees not as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.
