Allah is egg-splosive!

Hadith: Mishkat al-Masabih 3592

Abu Huraira reported the Prophet as saying, “God curse a thief who steals an egg and has his hand cut off, and steals a rope and has his hand cut off!

This hadith advocates cutting off a person’s hand for stealing an EGG,  now that’s one way to ‘scramble’ someone’s life!

It seems contradictory for Allah to call himself merciful while ‘shelling’ out severe penalties for the poor and hungry. Yolk's on you if you're hungry enough to steal an egg.

Cutting off a hand for stealing an egg -is some eggstreme justice! It is an excessively harsh punishment, especially for those who are most likely to steal due to hunger.

Don’t imagine the egg-splosive punishment  for snatching five eggs. This punishment will be more of an eggsecution.🫣

In comparison,  is this Bible verse.  

Mark 2:23-28, Jesus said...

“Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry and in need? In the days of Abiathar the high priest, he entered the house of God and ate the consecrated bread, which is lawful only for priests to eat. And he also gave some to his companions.”

In the Bible verse, Jesus showcases the openness of God’s house to the hungry. So skip the eggs from Muhammad’s kitchen and order up some heavenly food from the Saviour himself.
